ISACA® is excited to announce the launch of One In Tech, an ISACA Foundation and nonprofit dedicated to ensuring a healthy digital world for all. Over the past year, ISACA has worked to develop One In Tech as a philanthropic entity designed to address the lack of equity in access, education and inclusion within the technology space. This includes the systemic factors resulting in a lack of resources, support, education, career opportunities, mentors and other issues in the tech industry. These issues, especially for children, are even more urgent in the face of COVID-19 and the shift to e-learning, which has presented a near impossible challenge to under-resourced communities.
Race, gender and socioeconomic biases and oppressions also contribute to systems of inequality within cyberspace. One In Tech will implement programs, collaborations and initiatives to provide education, access and inclusion to children, adults, regions and systems across the world. ISACA members and chapters, as stewards of the current and future digital world, are encouraged to get involved in this highly relevant foundation.
